So for some reason plex will not list channels and allow you to play them if there is no guide downloaded for them. So for me, I can see TV1, 2 & 3. I added 4 test Sky channels to the list and it won’t download the EPG for them, even though at time of setup I chose the corresponding EPG from the list.
This means that while it cannot download the EPG’s, I cannot stream the channel via my phone app. Through the WEB UI I can sit on the Guide page and wait and wait and then for a short time ill see all the channels listed with “Unknown Airing”.
After just checking it seems even in the App if i go stream one of the 3 channels its downloaded the EPG for, it has a channel selection icon (third from the right top) and I can choose the other channels, they do say “Unknown Airing” and sometimes show the channel icons meaning i can find the channel i’m after but its so sporadic its hard to use.
Is this just an issue where the EPG needs to be fixed for the region?
