Plex quits running, freezes up my mac

Recently I’ve been unable to keep a stream going. Sometimes I can get 30 mins, others 8 or 9. It will stop playing, saying it encountered an error, and when I go to my computer, the server has closed and my computer is frozen up. Not sure why this started recently but curious if others are having the same issues. I’ve even wiped my drive and put a fresh copy of Mac OS on and still happens

Does it matter at all which player you are using?

Doesn’t seem to. I primarily use the player on a Samsung TV.

Probably have to look through the logs and see if there are any obvious errors popping up around the time the server seems to stop responding, it may give you somewhere to look.
