Plex refreshes when keyboard connects disconnects

I use Plex on my Galaxy Tab S9 (Android 16, One UI 8.0). I have a keyboard cover I use to put my tablet into landscape mode.

Reproduction steps:

  1. Open a video in Plex
  2. Connect/disconnect the keyboard physically

I couldn’t attach the screen recording here so I uploaded it to Streamble. I didn’t touch the screen at all, just connected/disconnected the keyboard with the refresh being the result Watch unnamed | Streamable

This happens quite often to me as I put my tablet on my bed, when it falls over it quickly disconnects/connects the keyboard causing a refresh and me having to open the video again.

This doesn’t happen with other apps (Whatsapp/Youtube) so it appears to be a Plex specific issue.

Seems the video you shared isn’t available but this sounds like the same thing that is happening with my tablet and my bluetooth keyboard. I’m on a Galaxy Tab S10 FE but also Android 16, One UI 8.0.
