Not sure this is in the right folder
Plex will add music, everything I throw at it
I will not add (ANY MORE) MKV, MP4 (NOTE: its added some)

what could be the issue?
How are your files named, and what is your folder structure?
For movies, ideally Plex will want to see something like:
/Library/Movie (1999)/Movie (1999).mp4
Having correctly named and organized files is the first step to making sure Plex is doing what it should.
yes I believe they are named correctly
example: E:\MEDIA\MOVIES\The Yes Man.mkv
example: E:\MEDIA\MOVIES\The Yes Man.mp4

Some things to try:
Make sure you have the year in (parens) in the file name. Here’s more info about the name and structure Plex expects to see:

Also, double check your library settings to ensure the Library Type is set as “Movies.” This will ensure Plex is using the correct agents when it sweeps your files looking to match them up. You may want to scrap the library, and start again with a new one.
Are any movies working at all in that library?
There is no need to add a “year” to any of these…
BUT you may be on to something with the agent
E:\MEDIA\MOVIES\Requiem for the American Dream.mkv
There is absolutely a need to add a year, if you have multiple releases of a movie, such as “The Blob.” I’ve seen several people assume there’s only one release of a movie, only to be burned by mismatches later. I apply the year, and never experience an issue… but if what you have works, roll with that.

How did you resolve the Agent issue? I believe I have everything correct, but my new movies won’t scan in with the proper artwork and info.
how I did it but YMMV
Libraries>Movies (ellipse)>edit>Add folders> [reset it to your folder name, probably the one you already have, just do it again]
Libraries>Movies (ellipse)>edit>Advanced>Scanner [I changed mine to Plex Video File Scanner (maybe I didn’t need to do that, but it worked)]
Save Changes
Again Your Mileage May Vary

That did not work for me however. Very strange that it’s stopped scanning in movies all of a sudden after all these years of working correctly. Everything else seems correct. New TV Shows still scan in too.
Well, after not getting new Movies to scan in for a few days, it looks like things are working again, without me changing anything. Strange.
Oh well, things work, that’s all that matters.
I have been having the same problem with regard to adding MOVIES. The last time I was able to have a movie scanned in to the library was 08/19/2018. I have been trying to add movies to the library since 08/23/2018. Six titles should have been added by now.
I have tried making the agent changes listed above. I’ve tried deleting my source folder from the library preferences, but the changes won’t save. (Quite literally tells me, “Your changes could not be saved.”)
I have stopped and started the server. I have updated PMS at least once during this time-frame, but the state of the movie library is unchanged. Can anyone point me in a direction? What logs should I submit?
The entire zipped log package with Debug turned on and Verbose Logging turned off. Devs will ask for precisely that.
Where do I submit trouble tickets?
BTW This is the scanner log excerpt that shows the movies that are not getting included in my library.

Never mind. After attempting a database repair (with no apparent effect) I have opted to scrap the database and start over.
