Zu viele Punkten und "rwp-tremors3-1080p.mkv” muss geaendert werden.
Gibt’s keine Filmen “RWP” . Deswegen gibts terror :slight_smile:

Plex is good, but not that good. Sorry.

Darf ich mal FileBot empfehlen ?

Also, you must move the media away from the monitored folders to properly rename them.
Plex keeps a “fingerprint” (checksum) of the file in the database. It uses this for duplicate detection. If Plex sees a file (new or otherwise) and the fingerprint is in the database, it will not attempt to match it again.

  1. Move media away from Plex
  2. Remove fingerprint:
    a. Scan files
    b. Empty Trash
    c. Clean Bundles
  3. Perform proper renaming
  4. Place files back into monitored folders.

I use FileBot. FileBot does 4 tasks in one.
a) Performs lookup for correct name
b) verifies how you want them
c) Renames each file while it
d) moves it into the proper structure (creating directories as it needs)

It automates all naming for me:

My naming rule for movies is:

/nas/movies/{n} ({y})/{n} ({y})

It creates perfectly named movies which look like this: (FileBot did all this, plus the entire library, in a few seconds)

Plex never has any difficulty for me. Media curation, especially names, is extremely important to Plex.

When you use subtitles, they must follow this naming:
