Hi there - I am currently trying to find an episode of a downloaded show on my plex library. The show is Drag Race Espana episode 9 - the finale, but despite the file (and subtitle) being named correctly - it isn’t showing up. I’ve tried removing and re-adding, getting rid of the folder entirely - I’ve been looking on the forums and I’m trying to use other posts to figure this out - but I’m not doing a great job.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You might try the filter “Duplicates” on your TV library and see if that episode got identified as an existing episode. Then you can split it off and fix the match.
If something seems like it disappeared when added usually it got identified as an existing title. If it couldn’t match it, it creates a listing still just with local metadata and a screen capture.
For additional help, it would be useful to have the specific naming structure you’re using (including the file name) and which agent you’re using for metadata matching.

Looking at that show If you are using the new Plex TV Series agent then make sure to change the episode ordering for that show to TheTVDB (aired) as themovieDB does not seem to have episode art.

Plex is very picky with TV show naming and structure. Make sure you follow Plex guidelines.
Please show a directory listing, screenshot, etc of the directory structure and file names.
i think i fixed it guys.
where i downloaded there was an episode 00 - which was introductions to the queens. I think somehow this competed with what Plex views as a 9 episode series. So it was mixing the bonus episode and the finale up.
thank you guys though for your help. i’m not super good with all this server stuff (i’m trying though!) and this community is always very helpful and great with giving understandable directions.

Organize the files as listed on thetvdb.com.
That is a special. Put it in a Season 00 or Specials folder.
Each season must be in its own folder. See previously linked documentation for details.
