Immediately after launching Plex Server on the current update, I receive a Plex Relay.exe app crash message. The error box appears several times but after closing the server seems to operate normally.

Have you tried turning off Plex Relay?

Settings \ Network (Show Advanced) \ Enable Relay

I have not. Typically this feature should be left on in case something happens with a firewall that causes issues so you can ensure Plex is always reachable. It’s been set this way for many years and never showed any errors and I’d personally prefer to not disable a feature to prevent an error which is likely a bug.

If your remote access is setup and operating correctly, it shouldn’t be needed.

Can you provide your server logs?

There is a known issue with the relay executable which is fixed in the latest hot fix server version.
