Plex Remote Access Issues

Hello, I upgraded to a Pfsense firewall today, and haven’t been able to access my Plex server outside my network since. I’ve gone through the Remote Access Document, and successfully added port forwarding to software applications on different Windows Machines. My Plex server is running on Freenas, and I have “Indirect” connection after doing manual port forwarding, but nothing past that.

  1. I’m not Double-NAT
  2. I have tried both NAT-PMP & UPnP
  3. I’ve added another server inside Plex & have duplicated the issue
  4. Jumbo frames are not enabled - 1500 MTU or less
  5. This is a picture of what it looks like before doing port forwarding & after
  6. Made sure IP address & gateway are set correctly
  7. Attempted changed to port 32401

Any ideas would be appreciated.

The main problem is Plex says you server is Fully accessible outside your network,

but loading the server through the web interface, it says my server is available as “Indirect”.

I removed my jails folder, recreated it, and reinstalled Plex from scratch. This finally was able to allow remote access from my local network.
