PLEX: Revert the app to prev UI, make new UI a new app. easy peasy

everyone on ios that got this update had same reaction as roku users. why can’t plex just revert to prev ui for app and make a new app for the new UI for those that may actually want it? Heck, i don’t even care if the legacy UI app wouldn’t ever get any new updates but would just do what it did, play back my media and have a useful UI that doesn’t remove years of options/buttons.

Plex, you’re gonna lose a lot of users from this and us that leave will not be quiet about why we did. all you had to do was just listen.. i’ll prob get banned from forums for my complaints but that in itself would be telling of the future of plex and what it is really about.

Roll it back. The reason we chose plex was to avoid all the commercialised chaff.

This makes plex unusable.

One of the worst bits is forcing you to use the weak Plexamp app for music by restricting Music library use on the plex iOS app. Plexamp has its uses but in many cases, such as accessing music from specific folder locations and importing playlists to other platforms and devices it is useless.

I’m desperate to get hold of the old version.

If this stays like this I’ll not only NOT EVER BE RECOMMENDING PLEX TO ANOTHER SOUL, but also going out of my way to DERECOMMEND it to anyone thinking of buying a subscription.

Did SONOS just buy out plex?
