Subject tells it all. Tried for weeks to find a solution but no joy. Am using the latest version of freenas with a Silicon Dust Quatro. Even reinstalled FreeNAS from scratch and still no joy. I have access to everything else on the system. At my wits end. Please Help.

What are the permissions and ownership for the dir on disk!?
You need to give the plex user write access to that directory.
Thanks for the reply. Are you talking about the permissions on the Win10 computer or on the FreeNAS server. As for the TV show folder on the FreeNAS computer, I have it set up as a share on FreeNAS and I can write to it from my Win10 computer.
I’m talking about the permission on the destination dir where you will save this recordings.
Check the path for the Library you set for the recordings, then make sure the plex user as access to this dir, including write access.
If this an nfs/smb share then you might need to do this in the host serving it, but I’m assuming its just a zfs dataset mounted on the plex jail, so you would just need to make sure all is ok in the host it self.
If you send me the path to the library in dm I’m might be able to provide you the commands you need to run to fix this.
