Plex says server unavailable on dual boot system

Server Version#: 1.18.3.2156-349e9837e-x86
Player Version#: ?

Hello, I have a dual boot system. Plex is already installed on OS1. When I try to install it on OS2 (both Windows 10) it says server unavailable. I am signed in as the same user on the same physical computer. Can anyone help?

Don’t do dual boot. It won’t work with secure connections.

Otherwise you need to transfer these values from the first OS to the 2nd OS.
(and you need to keep them in sync, going forward)

Thanks for your reply. I looked at the article in the link you sent but did not see the parameters you say need to be copied to the second OS. Do I find them in the registry or in the Plex Server folder?
Thanks again, Gord

This varies, depending on the operating system. The help article mentions all locations and their respective operating systems.
