Plex scanner cannot display all videos

Hi Community,

I’ve set up a folder and downloaded 6 mkv files, which I renamed to test1.mkv, test2.mkv, and so forth. Upon rescanning the library files and refreshing the metadata, only test5.mkv and test6.mkv appeared in the player, with the others remaining hidden.

I then experimented with the following combinations:

Scanner: Plex Movie
Agent: Plex Movie / Personal Media
Show: unplayable and weird files name. e.g. Ice Test V

Scanner: Plex Video Files Scanner
Agent: Personal Media
Show: unplayable and weird files name. e.g. Ice Test V

Scanner: Plex Video Files
Agent: Personal Media:
Show: test5.mkv

Could there be a reason why Plex fails to display all MKV files? I’ve noticed this problem with some videos in my collection.
