Same here. Plex Server has suddenly stopped identifying any movies, shows or albums for me. I did not change anything on the server.

@dbirch I do not understand your question. What do permissions have to do with false identification? After I changed the agent and the scanner everything now works again.

@Geextah This is why we always suggest creating your own thread, GMTolboom’s issue is that the scanner is repeatedly being triggered (probably from a cron job to fix permissions) which is causing repeated scanner initialization, and not allowing the scan to finish per ChuckPa’s analysis above. i could perform a plex dance but than with the library that has the least movies in it.
in my case that would be the anime movie library
