Plex Search, keywords not working for some movies however exact title works?

Hi, I’ve noticed strange behaviour when searching in Plex. For example, if I have a movie in the library with the title “Rurouni Kenshin Part III: The Legend Ends” I would expect to be able to search using a keyword such as “Rurouni” or “Kenshin”.

However, when searching and using those keywords I get no results. the only way I can get a hit on that movie is by searching the EXACT title as “Rurouni Kenshin Part III: The Legend Ends”.

I thought maybe my DB was corrupted so I ended up dropping the index_title_sort_icu index, and dumping my DB to dump.sql and reloading it. Then restarted the plex server and updated all libs again.

However, after that, I’m seeing the same behaviour?

Any thoughts/advice?

Hmm, it seems the index index_title_sort_icu has not returned either…
