Plex secure connections working?

Player Version#: 7.19.0.11630 (android)

Hi all.

I have set up a reverse proxy with SSL on port 443.
Under Network -> Secure connections I have: PREFERRED.

While listening to music in Chrome, I see a green lock icon near the player (so I think there is a secure connection).
While listening to music on Android one, I don’t see that icon. Even thou I specifically set in the Android app: Advanced -> Allow insecure connections: NEVER

Shouldn’t the Android connection be secure also?
