Plex keeps disappearing, I think it’s crashing but I’m not sure. I’m not sure what’s taking it down. I have it running on a Windows 10 2004. Avast is on that PC but I was having this issue before Avast. Whenever I notice that my Plex server is unreachable I just remote in and restart it and it works for a few days.

I recently reinstalled Plex onto a new HDD and had to change the registry manually. Other than that I’ve had no issues.

Based on your logs it appears something is blocking Plex from communicating…
Plex is failing to resolve the domain plex.tv and a number of other requests are being rejected (e.g. failed to connect, connection refused or operation has been aborted errors).

If this only happens over time… do you have a static local IP address / IP reservation for your Plex Media Server? If that’s not the case this might be linked to your router assigning a new local IP address to your server that might not be allowed to connect to those domains/pages?!

If the errors showed up consistently from the beginning a fix might be to review your DNS settings.
I consider a local filter won’t start kicking in after a few days (e.g. firewall / security tools / …).

After looking into it and playing around, I think what was happening was that Windows was going to sleep and then something was going wrong and causing a reset (?) of some sort for windows. So when I relog in it relaunches Plex and it works fine.

After changing my Power settings for my PC it seems to be working, but it’s only been a few days. I’m not sure what caused my power settings to change (or if that’s even the issue) so I will update if anything goes wrong
