Hey Plex Community,
I’m having a weird issue with my Plex server and hoping someone can help.
My Plex server, running on my Linux machine, suddenly isn’t showing up in my Desktop Web App (the one I access through my browser on my computer).
The strange thing is, it’s still working perfectly fine on all my other devices - my iPhone app, my TV app, etc. I can browse and watch everything on those, but when I go to the web app on my computer, it’s like my server doesn’t exist. Note: I’m logged in in the same account for all apps.
Has anyone else experienced this? It was working fine before, and I haven’t made any major changes to my server setup recently.
Any ideas on what might be causing this or how to fix it?
I just logged into the Desktop Web App using a friend’s Plex account (who also has access to my server), and for them, the server appears perfectly fine
After that, I logged out of their account and back into my own, but the server is still missing for me on the Desktop Web App. I even tried logging out and back in multiple times, but no luck.
I tried the same thing on my mobile app - logged out and back into my account - and everything works fine there. My server and media are visible.
Any idea on what could be going wrong? Not sure what to try already, all the users that have access to my server are still watching my content but I am somehow not able to see the server
I’m having something similar. Plex is on Linux and randomly I open a Plex app and my server no longer shows up. I have monitoring and my Plex isn’t down. Remote users still streaming no problems. If I open anything internally it no longer sees my server. I have to reboot my Plex machine in order to get my content back on my Plex app.
