Server running but web app can't see it!

Hi - never used a forum like this before so forgive me if i’m doing this the wrong way. Running Plex Media Server on Mac succesfully for over a year. Cleared chrome cache for reasons unconnected to Plex and now web app does not recognise server. Server is definitley running as I can see it the activity monitor but web app is not detecting it. Can’t login or out of Server as it doesn’t appear as an option in the Settings side bar. Logged out of web app and logged in again. Deleted sertver and reinstalled new version - neither has worked. I’m at a complete loss as to what has caused the problem and how to fix it. Help please!

If I need to supply more information in order to get someone to help with this then please do let me know what might be needed and how to access the information and supply it in a format that would be most useful.
