I had this problem recently. Turned out to be an ipv6 issue with my server. I turned off ipv6 and my server was instantly matching again.
EDIT: Just to be clear, it wasn’t just matching that had an issue. It was wholesale metadata downloading too.

i dont have the ipv6 setting turned on…
i saw the error with https and tvdb myself but turning off ssl required or prefered to deactivated didnt change anything. firewall is turned off i dont get what this error is all about it seems to be server related
Sorry, I meant I disabled ipv6 on the server, completely separate to settings within Plex.
it aint a server its my normal windows 10 enterprise workstation.
i did disable the ip6 for the active network adapter.
cant believe it was that simple. which kind of idiot did such a change in the last update without checking if that works? damn this has cost me so much time…

So it was IPv6 ?
Do you have most recent logs of it not working - to see if appears the same as before with timeouts on communication with the agent via localhost

No worries. Glad my frantic testing etc the other day had helped someone else. To be honest, until today I thought it was an issue on my network rather than with Plex.
