Plex Server does not work on DS418play

Plex Server Version: 1.19.2.2737-b69929dab (also tried with 1.18.5.2309-f5213a238)
DSM version: 6.2.3-25423 (also tried with previous version 6.2.2-24922 Update 6)

I want to switch from Emby to Plex.

After installation of plex I try to configure my Plex instance, but it redirects to https://app.plex.tv/ for web login. In a window of 10 seconds after NAS start it finds the Plex Server for a short time. After that I have no chance to configure plex.

The “Plex” share has already read/write access.

I hope somebody finds the problem in the logs.

Emby is currently stopped. So there shouldn’t be any conflicts.

In the upper right corner of the Plex/Web browser –

Sign out of your account. (Plex/web gets confused.)

Now open http://ip.addr.of.syno:32400/web (you must be on the same home network – can’t use Synology remote access in any form)

That is what I try. If I call this adress, it redirects directly to https://app.plex.tv/.
It doesn’t matter if I logged in or not.

In a short time window of about 10 or 15 seconds after starting my NAS, I see the server configuration and can for example add a path for a new mediathek. But if this time is over it switches to app.plex.tv automatically.

The problem is the same on different browsers (Chrome, Edge) and different devices (mobile phone with Chrome).

I have not idea why…

There is a network problem.

please to into the Plex share, (File station),

navigate down into Library until you see Logs

Right click it.

Compress to Logs.zip

When that’s done, download and attach it here in your reply.
