Plex Server gets error when I try to share libary

Server Version#: 4.133.0
Player Version#: N/A
When going to “grant library access” to a user I get an error.

“There was an unexpected error”
“Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems”

Nothing prints in the log when debug is selected.

Did you create a managed user with an Emoji as user name?
And if so, does the error occur with this user?

Interesting suggestion. I’ll give it a try tonight when I get home from work.

I’m a second moderator for the server BTW.

There is no such thing in Plex.

There is if I have remote access to their server and use their account to change things.

See I have access, so either:

  • Pulling a prank with another person
  • Hacking their account to pull a prank
  • I actually have access, I followed it on an account I can check without remote accessing, and responded back forgetting to get on the other account.
