I have 7 Plex users that I share my libraries with. 1 is a home user and the rest are standard users without a plex pass.
All those 7 accounts work as they should.
I recently tried to share libraries with another account. Went through the process of sharing libraries and then getting the invitation accepted on the client side. However the libraries do not appear, I can see under the friendship that the libraries are shared on both my side and the client side. I can also see the client has successfully accepted the invitation.
On the client side (desktop) on the left there is no “+ more” option available.
I thought I was going mad when this happened, I have removed the share then re shared it but no success.
I then went and created a new plex account just to test, shared the libraries from my server again and accepted the invitation but again the libraries do not appear.
I have even tried searching for the films as it will tell you where you can watch it, my server is not listed as an option.
I have checked remote access, I have asked other users that I share my libraries with and theirs is working. I have “unclaimed” the server and “reclaimed” it but no success.
I’m now stuck on what to do next.
