Plex server installed; it runs and the web UI pulls up, but there is no server listed anywhere

Server Version#:
Player Version#: 1.98.2.208-0cf517e0

I have installed the Plex server on Ubuntu, Docker (Ubuntu), TrueNas apps and Windows 11, all with the same results. The back end runs, and the web UI loads, but no server is listed on the media or settings pages. I have claimed my server each time, numerous times trying to resolve this but that did not resolve it. I’ve reinstalled numerous times and nothing has worked.

When I go to the local IP:32400 after an install, it asks me to select my user and does not show me the normal server setup. I’ve cleared the cache and all that jazz too, but still nothing.

I’ve installed Plex numerous times over the past 10 years and this is the first time I have seen this so I’m kinda stumped.

Halp

almost sounds like a network issue, have you taken a look at your server logs ?

I failed to mention i did move my TrueNas server to a new VLAN to segment traffic but also had this issue on the primary lan. (Unifi)

Nothing stands out in the logs. I’m going to stand up another VM and see if I did something stupid… which is likely.
