Hi. I’ve just installed Plex server on my Ubuntu 20.04, went to the webpage (http://myserver.lan:32400), logged in using my Plex credentials and… that’s it. I don’t see the server and I can’t configure it in any way despite accessing the Plex panel through it.
I don’t even know where to start debugging - server has no issues with name resolution (I tested few Plex domains like app.plex.tv, forums.plex.tv) and iptables is empty.
Did you download from Ubuntu (Snap store) or Plex.tv ?
As for the setup…
I downloaded it from plex.tv:
root@fueltank:~# wget https://downloads.plex.tv/plex-media-server-new/1.20.1.3252-a78fef9a9/debian/plexmediaserver_1.20.1.3252-a78fef9a9_amd64.deb

Is accessing through ssh port forwarding something different than accessing the server directly via lan? It’s on the same local network as the PC I’m currently using and like I said, I was able to log in to Plex using web panel on that server through my PC. The issue is that I do not see the server nowhere in the web app.
Huh, turns out it is. My fault, read the instructions wrong.
Yes, boss. Thank you for the help and sorry
