I am using a window server. I used to use plex for TV shows and movie streaming. I have been trying to play videos but it was showing a request time-out error. I checked my interent connection and found that my internet is not working with the plex server. My internet is working fine on other devices. Please suggest to me how can I solve that issue.
The Router I am using is Linksys WRT54GL There can be some router configuration issue I am afraid.
Wait, so does your internet work at all on your computer/server while plex is running? (web browser, etc)
Is it just the server that doesn’t seem to be getting internet? how do you know that “my internet is not working with the plex server.” What did you do to come to that conclusion?
Has it worked before now? Have you done anything of note (installed drivers or apps) around the time Plex stopped working?
What do you stream these TV Shows / Movies to to watch on (the same computer, or another device in the home such as a TV or phone)? Are they in the house with the server, or in another building/house?
Where do you see this “request time-out” error?
