I have been using plex forever and recently upgraded from 1.18.3.2156 to 1.19.4.2935
The upgrade appeared to go fine but when I tried to launch plex from any client I could not.
I have tried a ton of troubleshooting I have found online but none if it with any success. The issue is the same across every attempt.
In a nutshell, when I load the server Plex shows up as a task in Windows 10. Initially it uses all available CPU in the high 90%. this lasts for a long time, at least 30 minutes. Eventually the CPU use drops to 0-1%. At no point can I access the server at all.
This is the case whether I try to access the server through either my IP address or Local host IP .
Plex stays active in my tasks for Windows and shows up in my taskbar, but I cannot get to it at all.
I have tried uninstalling and installing multiple times, all with logging in and out, restarting, every combo i could think of to try to get this to work. I have gone through the Windows uninstall and install trouble shooter too.
My most recent attempt I tried rolling back the install to my prior successful 1.18 install. That had no success either and the issue is still exactly the same. I still have that build installed.
I have looked through any log I can find but I do not see anything that seems like a problem but I have no idea really what I am looking at.
What else can I do/try?
