Plex Server - Naming Convention - Holiday Shows (TV)

Hello,

I apologize if this is a repeat (again) question. I’ve seen a bunch of threads on this but having some issue getting to work as expected. Its that time of the year again and trying to catch up on some holiday show naming. Will use ’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! as an example from 1966. It shows up in TVDB as a movie with TVDB ID 3971, yet I cant seem to get it to match via TVDB with or without the date. Any thoughts ?

Independent TV specials like that are typically considered movies (or essentially short films). I have that included in my Holiday Movies collection and it matches perfectly.

If you’d really like it in a TV collection, consider it as an episode of the “Dr. Seuss” TV series?

FIgured it out… Have to be classified as ‘Movie’, not TV show. All good
