TV Show Naming Issues

Server Version#: 1.15.4.994

I followed this article to a T on naming TV shows.

https://support.plex.tv/articles/200220687-naming-series-season-based-tv-shows/

I am having two specific issues. One issue I am having is that I have shows that are apparently not listed in the DB at www.thetvdb.com. Here is an example of one show.

The series 24 produced a limited run series named 24: Live Another Day. I have the top level folder named, a season 1 folder and the shows all named the exact same way as all my other shows. I have tried different variations on the naming like “24 - Live Another Day” and even just “Live Another Day”. So far, nothing has worked to get the show to display under TV Shows in Plex. How do I get Plex to recognize shows that are not listed in the tvdb?

The second issue is that I have specials, gag reels and other clips that I placed into a Season 00 folder. I followed the recommended format of TV Show Name - S00EXX - Name. They are being located and placed in a “Specials” grouping under the seasons listing of a TV show in the player. The issue is that somehow Plex is finding a name for them that is all wrong. When I edit the name and click save changes, it does not work.

Here is one example. For Top Gear, I have clip named Heaven and Hell, but Plex renames it as Series 1 best of. So I delete all the data that plex has populated for it and rename, click Save Changes and poof, nothing changes. I have edited the Metedata with different Meta editors and nothing works. Plex continues to rename it Series 1 best of. Obviously the fix metadata option for the top level folder is not an option since it correctly identifies the show, its just the “extras” that are the issue. How do I get Plex to properly display the naming of the clips?
