Server Version#: v1.26.0.5715

Just bought a new Nvidia Shield to use as a android tv and Plex server but when I go to the web app to manage the libraries, it says it cannot connect to the Nvidia shield securely so it will not allow me to do anything with it.
I also just bought a new NVIDIA SHIELD Pro to use as a server, and I am stuck in the same spot. I have switched the function in settings “Allow insecure connections” to Always, but that still doesn’t seem to solve the problem. Hoping someone from this forum can help us both. I also updated everything to the latest software, but no luck.
Server Version#: v1.26.0.5715
Player Version#: 9.0.6.31998
Shield Android TV SW version: 9.0.2(33.1.0.319)
“app.plex.tv is unable to connect to “SHIELD Android TV” securely”
“Its “Secure connections” setting may be set to disabled, or you may need to adjust some settings on your network. You can learn more about secure connections here.”
OK ACTUALLY. Just had a breakthrough. From another post:
Once the Plex Media Server is running, point a browser at it to claim and configure, http://shield.ip.address:32400/web . The Shield’s IP address is available in the Shield settings or in the lower right corner of the screen when in the Plex app settings.
I tried this without realizing the logging port was 32500, and the port requested here was 32400. Once logged in this way, I was able to go add all my external HD library folders correctly! Hope this helps for you too sredo1. Here’s the other post link:
