After all these app updates and server updates my plex server is no longer showing on my iPad or iPhone app. I have updated all apps and my server. I’m manually port forwarding and the server says it should be accessed remotely. Kind of annoyed because I just purchased a life time pass before all these updates and everything was working perfectly fine. Now I’m traveling and can’t download or watch anything.
After buying a Plex pass, in order to immediately notify your server that you did so, do this:
Stop your Plex server using its task tray icon.
Wait a few minutes.
Start it again with the regular Windows Start menu.
Wait another few minutes.
Force-close and restart the mobile app.
Always verify results by using the hosted web app for comparison.
I have the exact same issue, I’ve asked Plex to look at this but still no reply.
So I figured it out. Basically the UI needs work and is currently awful and unintuitive. You have to click the drop down arrow and then select your libraries and they will show up. Now if only I could actually download my content. It fails every time.

If it is the one Top Left next to current Library, I would have to disagree.
∨ (Logical or Angle Down ) is a common UI Icon with many Variations, maybe a more prominent Icon could be better
I’m having the same issue I think. I’m new here and not very tech savvy. I just bought the lifetime pass, and it says that server can’t connect securely.. The instructions don’t make sense on how to fix this. I don’t see the Network or Server options under settings. Can someone help me please?
