Hi,
I’m at wit’s end, have tried every trouble shooting solution I could find on the web and am hoping someone has encountered. I’m experiencing a problem with the Plex mobile app (iOS). About a month ago, my libraries stopped showing up on the standalone Plex app on my phone. However:
My server is fully operational and accessible via Plex Web and Plex Dash (on the same phone)
I’ve revoked and reauthorized the device, reinstalled the app, reset the app cache, restarted the server, and confirmed it is claimed
I’ve removed all devices from my Plex account and freshly logged back in
I don’t have access to “Manual Connections” or “Sign in with Web Browser” in the current version of the app
It seems that despite the server being active and functional, the mobile app will not list or access any libraries.
ChatGPT suggest I ask Plex support to check if there’s a token, cloud sync, or account issue on my Plex user profile that might be blocking library visibility in the mobile app… but I can’t find a direct link to Plex tech support
Thank you for the reply. Are you saying the phone needs to be connected to the local network with the server? If so, I was able to listen remotely before a month or so ago, so unless something has changed…
no more option to add a library to plex server.great news for a life pass user who was able to listen to his music on all his devices and plexamp won t connect to my plexserver,why should it anyways cause no more music library on it since the last update.HHO
