Server Version#: 1.20.1.3252
Hi All,
I have been running a Plex media server through my Windows 10 machine for years. I connect to it through my TV. I have been running an old version of Plex (0.9.1107.803) as when i would update the version my TV couldnt find the server. I bought a new TV and updated the version of Plex to the most current version over the weekend (28 March). On Monday i put 3 new files (batwoman, Family guy and the simpsons in to their respective folders (as i have done for years) and then “updated libraries”.
Batwoman updated and now shows in plex however the simpsons and family guy did not update for the new episode. When i went in and had a look via the web browser i saw that plex is now missing the last 2 seasons of the simpsons and the current season of family guy. I tried refreshing metadata, re-scanning the files and checking Plex was pointing to the correct file location. Nothing seems to have fixed the issue so i rolled back to version 1.20.1.3252 but no change.
I dont understand why i the new version of Plex would suddenly remove some random seasons and now pick up some new files (wierd that it picked up 1 out of 3).
This is not an issue with naming convention, I use Filebot for naming and ALL my seasons and file structure is the same and always has been.
Anyone have any ideas?
