Plex Server on MacOS Constantly Crashing and will not open

Hardware: Mac Studio M1 Max - 32Gb
Software: macOS Ventura 13.4.1 (c)

My Plex Media Server was working absolutely fine until a few months ago, when it started to randomly crash every day (which seems to be an issue lots of users are experiencing). I thought that I would do a clean install of the server, therefore I did an uninstall of the existing Plex Media Server software, and installed the latest version 1.32.5.7516-8f4248874.

When installing this, as soon as I open the App, it immediately crashes and gives me the message of ‘Plex Media Server Quit Unexpectedly’ with three options to Reopen, Report and Ignore. Each time I select reopen, it immediately crashes again.

I started reading the forums, and one suggestion was to install the latest beta version which I did (1.32.6.7521-24e4dff81) and I’m encountering exactly the same issue.

I’m a lifetime Plex Pass user (not sure if this counts for anything), but any advice on how to fix or obtain the relevant crash report so that I can post would be appreciated.

Check in Server Settings that the Transcoder temporary directory is set. Mine wasn’t for some reason.
