Plex server on NAS invalid certificate

Server Version#: 1.42.2.10156
Player Version#: 8.45 (9684) AppleTV

I was asked to create a new topic for this issue. It appears my server has been rate limited. I have not made any recent changes and simply started having issues a couple of days ago. I have only reclaimed the server one time (last evening). Please let me know how I can help get this resolved.

Thank you!

Hi Plex Support,

it looks like my issue has been resolved. I’m assuming you took care of the certificate issue and I wanted to pass along my thanks for fixing this and for your fast response. Very much appreciated!

I don’t know if there was a cause from the start on my end, but if there’s anything I can do to prevent this from happening in the future, please let me know.

Thank you again!

Nothing was done. Your NAS decided to wait 2 days before it requested yet another new certificate, so it “sat out” the block by accident.
I’m assuming the core issue still has not been fixed.
Do you have any scripts that routinely clean out the cache folder in the plex data folder? If you do, disable them.

Thanks, Otto. No cleanup scripts running on the NAS server but I did run out of space on the NAS around the time I started having issues. Could this have had an impact?

Possibly. Never run out of space on the volume that houses the plex data folder, or you’re risking losing all plex data in the worst case.
