Greetings. I have a QNAP NAS TS 231P device and an Nvidia Shield TV. Plex server seems to work fine on both though I haven’t done any real testing. I do note that TV recording can only seem to be set up on one device but not both. The Shield PMS is pointed at the NAS for file storage.
Is there any particular reason to use either the Shield or the NAS as my PMS? I suspect that the NAS would be better at transcoding but would like some input. Thanks in advance.
