I basically gave up on Plex when I couldn’t get 4K movies to play on my Samsung Q60 TV (60RA). Then I tried PlexAmp and am very happy with it. I’m trying Plex again to stream movies but still can’t get 4K and some 1080P to work.
Win 10 pro x64 22H2 on Asus ROG Strix, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core 4.05 GHz, 32 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super. Streaming over 1000 Mbps powerline.
I specifically bought the ROG Strix thinking it could transcode easily. I use the Plex app on the Samsung TV, nothing but music over the internet only when I’m away from home.
I’ve waded through the documentation over and over and am now thoroughly confused. I really need some help.
