Any luck with the Test Build sa2000 sent? Hoping for good news and resolution. Thank you
Iāve been running 1.26.1.5748 for >24 hours and itās been stable so far ![]()
Thanks PlexUser 2020. I will check again tonight, checked last night and 5744 was not even available and I have beta versions activated.
Still only seeing 5715 available even with Plex Pass enabled. It is hopeful hearing some success with the test versions - hope they post an update soon, have lost weeks of DVR recordings.

I am experiencing crashes on my Plex Server. I have recently removed the database and reinstalled Plex to ensure it was a clean slate. However, it has crashed once again. Hoping someone can advise.
I am stumped as well andrewstew. I have tried everything I can think of and tips here. I do know (per above) that there are at least couple test builds out there but I only see the same build you mentioned. I was away this weekend and missed all recordings. I have been a user since early days but must consider moving on to something else that is reliable. I realize bugs happen but this has gone on through the last 2-3 releases. I really do hope users fortunate enough to have the test builds have good news. I do wish they would post it for Plex Pass users enrolled in beta.
Apr 18, 2022 09:10:02.871 [1872] WARN - Crash: Crash reporting disabled
Can you please look in this folder for any dump files
C:\Users\Media_PC\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Crash Reports\1.26.0.5715-8cf78dab3\PLEX MEDIA SERVER
Please zip the files you find and send me the zip by private message
The builds in question are development builds and I have sent them out to a few users that encountered the crash that was investigated.
I can see that your server has reported this crash and I will now add you to the private message thread that will give you access to development build 1.26.1.5748 to try out
Thanks for sending me the dmp file
It appears to be the same crash for which I am having development builds tested - latest being 1.26.1.5748
I will add you to the PM thread to give you access to that
I have noticed another crash from your server from 11th April when on 1.25.9.5721 - i am not sure if this got addressed in the 1.26.0 beta or the later development build - so will need to keep an eye on crashes and see if this comes back - would need debug logs plus the dump file
Excellent! Thanks for your efforts on this issue sa2000.
My server keeps crashing today. Wonāt stay online for more than 10 minutes.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Hereās a copy of my logs
Plex Media Server Logs_2022-04-18_16-06-35.zip (2.7 MB)
Been a while but has two crashes in the last couple of days. Have attached the logs from just after restarting the server after the last one on 19th April.
Again there were no crash reports in either
C:\Users\BOX4 Media Centre\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Crash Reports
or C:\Users\BOX4 Media Centre\AppData\Local\CrashDumps
Have checked the registry and I have the relevant key set, in fact there were some crash dumps in the local\CrashDumps folder from when I was using Kodi a few months back but nothing recent.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do this end.

Mind PMing me the dev build please? My Plex server is crashing with all the same issues in this thread.
Thanks for the logs
Canāt see any crashes in the periods covered by the logs provided
Logs captured at 16:06 on Apr 18, 2022
I can see two user invoked shutdowns on the server and relaunces
Apr 18, 2022 15:10:56.440 [11692] DEBUG - Ordered to stop server.
and
Apr 18, 2022 16:05:55.434 [16320] DEBUG - Ordered to stop server.
Also not found any uploaded crash reports
Are you running with extended verbose logging for the transcoder ? That could be filling the logs quickly - see advances settings TranscoderLogLevel
Please capture logs on relaunch that follows a crash. There is no evidence of a crash before the last 2 relaunches showing in the logs
It appears that the crash reports were handled by the Plex Media Server crash reporting code and any files created in C:\Users\BOX4 Media Centre\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Crash Reports were processed and would have got copied to %TEMP% at the end of processing
You will probably find a copy of one of these crashes saved as d0f5d8eb-9295-4bb3-97c5-7fbe21c01bcd in the temp directory
I can see that your server has uploaded one or more crash reports and the crash appears to be the same as the one for which i have a development build (1.26.1.5748) - i will include you in the private message thread that gives you access to this build.
I can see uploaded crash reports for this from your server. I have added you to the private message thread
The fix for the crashes in development builds mentioned above has now been released in Plex Media Server beta release 1.26.1.5762-912e6f050
