for the past couple months if i try to update my server it fails and gives an error message (see photo). I have to download from the plex.tv website. Any suggestions?
may be you have a partial set of installation files from an old attempt to update that failed or aborted
see if this exists and delete it and try again
/Applications/Plex Media Server.app.new
If this does not resolve the issue, would need detailed directory listings showing files, directories and symbolic links for
/Applications/Plex Media Server.app.new/Contents/Frameworks/Growl.framework/
and
/Applications/Plex Media Server.app.new/Contents/Frameworks/Growl.framework/Versions/
