Hey everybody,
I recently installed the Plex Server on my Synology DS 218play. It streams fine to my Apple TV 4K without any trouble. For a couple of days, I accessed and edited everything through the web app access on Google chrome. Now, this access is not working any more: “the server is not reachable”.
I have a Win 10 environment, using Google chrome as my main browser, having installed the latest version of Plex on the synology station.
I tried to de-install the server - no change! I tried to de-activate the firewall to test it - no change. The odd thing is that the same setup worked fine and suddenly decided not to.
Access via smart phone app works fine, steaming works fine but since I can’t access the web app, editing meta data is not possible.
Does anyone have an idea?
I appreciate any help with a more detailed “manual” since I’m not a pro when it comes to routing, IP addresses and log files.
