Now that the DVR recording feature is popular, it would be a great enhancement to add DVR info to the System Tray Icon info bubble that pops up when you hover over it with the mouse. Right now it just says "Plex Media Server’. If it were possible to add a short bit of DVR info it would be a great asset for system managers. IE: Plex Media Server on line one of the pop up info bubble… and maybe a 2nd or 3rd line indicating a red recording icon and brief name of programs when program recordings are in progress. For those managing the server, it’s important to know when Plex is recording. #1, it affects CPU and storage so a quick way to look without loading the web client tools would be great #2, if I need to take the server down for any maintenance or other reason, it’s a quick way to see recordings are in progress. If a recording is not in progress, maybe the info pop up could show the next item upcoming to be recorded, or users currently connected and using Plex. Again, whenever I have to take the server down, it would be a cool addition to just hover over the system tray icon and get the info without loading the client.
