Hello,
I have plex server installed as plugin on TrueNAS. Works great except when trying to load any subtitles, both on LG TV plex app or via PC browser, transcoder always crashes with the error: “Conversion failed. The transcoder failed to start up” or “Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error.”
I have updated the plugin 3 times (and will continue to update whenever updates release) but the problem is still here.
Any help will be appreciated.

I have upgraded my CPU and problem solved.
more detail would be nice. from what cpu to what cpu? That makes no sense. My CPU is way more power then the minimum requirement. I have an Intel® Core™ i3-10100 Processor with Quick Sync Video for transcoding.
I have upgraded from g4400 to i5 6500 and it works great now.
In your case you should keep looking for solution.
