Plex Server Transplant

Due to alot of specialized customizations, when i made a new plex server i copied the original appdata folders over to the new one and made sure the file directory structure and drive letter was intact just as is on the old server.

This worked exactly as desired, the new server retained absolutely everything from the old server, however the scheduled backup task is not functioning. im not sure why.

if the entire appdata and media structure was transplanted into a new system to prevent the media scanner from messing everything up, what other changes need to be made to the registry and or config files in appdata\plex server folder?

i think there is something tying it back to the old system somehow, maybe system name, im not sure. but the transplant seemed to have a flaw that i overlooked.

the old server still is online and its backup is running fine and that server is also working as a media server without issue (esentially everything works like it should aside from the backup database, and maybe other things not noticeable to me or effect the new server in any practical way) the servers have different server names and i was able to get the new server to accept its new name and it shows up in plex servers as a different system just like it should

Verify that it’s pointing to the correct folder location
Settings - Server - ‘Show Advanced’ - Scheduled Tasks - “Backup directory”
and that there are sufficient access permissions to write a file.

Yeah I have two folders on my OneDrive for each server, I have write permissions to both and good server backs up ok, is their a resource account that needs granted permission for Plex itself?
