So… I posted this in the QNAP section and got no responses so far. Ninja time!
Plex Media Server on QNAP TS-870 Running current PMS Plexpass build
- I went to my Plex server.
- I went to Users.
- I removed the only “managed” user and left the primary user (me) untouched.
- Then I clicked on the “Home” icon and it did not load my libraries.
- I refreshed the webpage and it told me the server “cannot be reached” but I can still see a friend’s server in the dropdown list.
- Attempted to access the server via http://qnap:32400/web
- Page does not load.
- I remembered having a similar issue once before after changing my Plex password after the Hack a few months back.
- I SSH’d into the QNAP.
- Went to the Plex Media Server directory.
- Shut down the Plex App from QNAP admin page.
- Edited the Preferences.xml to remove all references to PlexOnline
- Restarted Plex Server.
Still nothing. HELP??? Please???
