I’ve run into an issue where several music albums that I’ve had properly cataloged have had the artist updated to Unknown Artist and Unknown Album. I’ve gone through and edited both, but the Artist keeps going back to Unknown Artist. I’ve added the Artist to the metadata of the MP3 file, as well as verified the Match using Fix Match. Is there anything else I can do to prevent Plex from overwriting my selected Artist Name?
I believe I found the issue. You can’t adjust the Artist name on just the album, you need to go the various “Unknown Artists” in the Music library, and edit the artist itself.

Appreciate the tip, this wasn’t an issue with compilations, but with a couple of single artist albums.
I must have misunderstood what you were saying then. That same page has info on single artist albums as well.
