HI
My windows plex server uses 100% of the cpu when idle.
When checking task manager the usage is spread out over 3 plex prosesses Python, plex scanner and plex server. Im using a i5 3570K\GTX1050ti with a rather large library (about 20 terra), Plex software on SSD.

Thank you for any help, its been driving me nuts
The organization of your music library doesnât fit with Plexâs requirements.
The acoustic fingerprinter is running under full load, trying to make sense out of it, but will ultimately fail
As a test, stop the scan of your music library and remove the library.
Plex requires a folder structure of
\Music <-- library points here
\Albumartist
\Albumtitle
01. trackartist - tracktitle.mp3
02. trackartist - tracktitle.mp3
03. trackartist - tracktitle.mp3
...
Multi-disc albums can also use
\Music <-- library points here
\Albumartist
\Albumtitle
\Disc 1
01. trackartist - tracktitle.mp3
02. trackartist - tracktitle.mp3
03. trackartist - tracktitle.mp3
...
\Disc 2
01. trackartist - tracktitle.mp3
02. trackartist - tracktitle.mp3
03. trackartist - tracktitle.mp3
...
This applies to âsamplerâ albums as well. The âAlbumartistâ name is in this case âVarious Artistsâ (in the majority of cases at least).
Your structure doesnât fit this. Depending on which folder level you pointed the library at, Plex may probably trying to find an album which contains all tracks in your â2. Albumâ category â which of course will eventually fail.
'A:\3. Musikk\1. Musikk\2. Album\Free - Chronicles - The Very Best Of 2CD's\cd2\Heartbreaker.mp3'
Thank you for your help, i will try removing the music to see if that is the problem, thank you!!
