Plex using 100% cpu in the night for 3 hours

Hello, my plex server has started using 100% cpu between 02:00-05:00 every night for the last three nights. Any though on what’s going on?

I have automatic library scan turned of.

I see this in the logs.

Look under scheduled tasks and see what time you have set.

Thanks had missed that option… It’s set at 02:00 - 05:00.
Question is still why it has started running full 3 hours for the last 3 nights. The onlything I have changed lately is that i have started using music in Plex but that’s more then a week ago and the cpu spikes has been the last 3 nights.

Several of the tasks may take quite some time to complete. Sonic Analysis, Credit Detection, and Video Preview Thumbnails are some of the more CPU intensive tasks.

If the tasks do not finish, they will pick up where they left off during the next maintenance window.

Look for Butler in Plex Media Server.log and .1.log to .5.log.
