Plex server won't start since update

  • Shut down Plex server, including the ‘Plex Update Service’
  • uninstall Plex Server using the regular Windows Apps control panel
  • download the latest beta of Plex Server and install it on drive C: (it will only occupy ~155 MB)
  • remove the key LocalAppDataPath completely from the registry
