Plex server works, then unavailable; stop - start Plex server fixes it; Need Help!

I have a Plex server that I’ve been running for over a year without issue. Recently the server has issues that make it unreliable and unusable.

The server will not be available on LAN or Remote Access. The server is still running on the QNAP TVS-871 NAS. Stopping and Starting the Plex server makes it available again for a random period of time. Then it becomes unavailable again.

Having to stop & start the Plex server on the NAS does not work in a household with wife and kids, nor is it viable when I am trying to watch Plex remotely.

Please assist - makes Plex unusable in my environment.

Please do the following:

  1. Make sure Settings - Server - General has Debug logging enabled. Do not enable Verbose
  2. When it next stops, upon restart, immediately get the full set of logs so we can see it. Settings - Server - Help - Download Logs
  3. Attach the ZIP it gives you here and we’ll take a look at what’s happening.
