I am deploying Plex on a multi-VLAN network where I need to whitelist outbound services via FQDN (we block all outgoing internet traffic normally). We have multiple players that connect on different VLANs to the server. Since it appears that traffic is going outbound/public network first to reach the server (I’m assuming because they are on different broadcast domains), it looks like I need to whitelist Plex public URLs to allow it to find my server even though its technically on the same internal network. I’ve searched the forums but haven’t found a full list to use. I’ve found the following so far:
pubsub[0-9].pop.<location>.plex.bz (location == yyz, lhr, sin, fra, ewr, dfw, hnd)
plex.tv
What else should fill out this list? Thank you for your help in advance.
