I imagine what they are doing is what’s called thread ‘sinking’ - a reprehensible feature and one that should be avoided, along with companies that use it. It’s essentially an admission of either a) don’t care what you think or b) (even worse) don’t have any answers.
But who cares. As you said: “a reprehensible feature and one that should be avoided, along with companies that use it.”.
Plex is a **** company. I really don’t care anymore.
Why not just admit this app is dead? Or even better, just add sync support to PMP and we can all move on and be happy. This isn’t that complicated, they should be able to at least accommodate us for once.
Hell, I’m not even demanding then to fix anything. Only thing I’m demanding is someone tell us if this is dead and if it isn’t when we can expect to see the 500 issues addressed.
Forum posting is slow to respond lately. Post, click submit, wait 10 to 20 secs or more before server response.
Though I’m not saying Plex is answering anyone, I’m confident that forum delay is the reason updated topics aren’t immediately showing at the top of a discussion area.
Topic churn drives it down after that, until another post is made.

Forget sinking…the app hasn’t been updated in a damn year. They keep sending some poor guy back with vague answers to take the gerenades on here, and then nothing is ever done. Who ever thinks this is a way to run a business should be thrown off a cliff. Idiotic.

Our beloved CTO is only posting about PlexAmp in the forum any more. Prob. PlexAmp is the way that business is run, because it looks like nothing else gets attention any more.
Gosh, I’d really love to be in one of Plex’s board meetings. I have a vague idea what’s going on there right now.

Yeah…sorry but Apple TV should be in the back seat to Windows, but it appeares they have far more employees working on that. What the he’ll is wrong with this clown running this company?

I don’t know a single person that uses Plex with an Apple TV. While I know about a dozen that use Plex with Windows devices.

My Dad uses Apple devices, including multiple Apple TVs.
But it is quite possible that most people whom AppleTV targets are not knowledgeable enough about computers to set up a media server and fill it with content.
